Tax law has a strict hierarchy — constitution, statute, regulation, guidance. Our re-ranker encodes that hierarchy as a numeric score, so the most defensible source surfaces first.
Every answer carries inline citations linked to the exact paragraph and bounding box in the source PDF. The advisor sees the source side-by-side, with the relevant passage highlighted.
Each answer is labeled Tier 1, Tier 2, or Tier 3. The Tier 3 “I don’t know” path is a structural mechanism — not a prompt — that prevents hallucinations on out-of-scope questions.
Firms upload internal memos and prior opinions into a per-firm-isolated index. Any chat session can be turned into a formatted legal memorandum with one click — citations and risk analysis included.
TaxTune is software, sold per advisor seat. We do not bill hourly, sell tax advice, or run engagement-based revenue lines.

Our roadmap is software-only. Every line of revenue is a per-seat software subscription — no hourly work, no engagement billing.
